when you're not sure where you are going but you know you have to make it there

More adventure time for me. Had to take the kittens to the vet for their shots and well kitty check up. The place is fully booked 4 weeks out so I definitely didn't want to miss the appointment. I just knew where I was going ( I had never been there). In actuality I only had a vague idea and sort of eye balled the drive there. Of course I got lost. I had to call twice for directions while on my way. The whole time I’m telling the lady on the phone that I am already on the street that the place is located on. Yep. Far from it. I just wanted to be on that street, but hadn’t quite made it. As I was trying to figure out how much further I had to drive, I totally overshot the estimation of the distance. Going nowhere fast. Isn't that how it is in life. When you have your goal set and you know you just have to make it there, you tend to over-focus, missing major turning points and clues. Leading you further away from where you were meant to be.
