A sight to see

It was always Out there Somewhere So far off I could never Reach What it was That appeared to be So distant From me A world full of wonder Sights to be seen Beauty and awe That seemed to be Everywhere But within The day came When I couldn't see anymore I felt lost Forlorn Even though I never reached Those admired things That had been Too far off In the distance for me That's when I realized That it has always been My own two eyes My heart Full of love For what this place Holds for all of us That allowed me to see All the beauty Surrounding me I washed off The greys of grief That had besotted my eyes Waking up Everyday Grateful To be Alive ~~~~~~~~~~~ a beautiful milieu
