where I am

I’ve seen this movie a long while back. Apocalypto. The way I interpret it is in a nutshell it’s about getting ripped out of all you know, everything you love and hold sacred is taken away from you. And your life is threatened. You have to be in survival mode. And you start running. Literally scared for your life. And you can’t half think straight because of that constant fear hovering over you. You’re in familiar territory yet you don’t know which way to turn. Until you face yourself. Face your fears. Claim your terrain. Stand up for yourself. And you are finally able to see everything that surrounds you and take it for what it is. Things (people) brought into your life to help you along the way. You may not like everything that is coming your way but you are no longer afraid. May whatever come, come. You will deal with it as it shows up in your face. That is where I am right now. No more fear. Taking everything as is. Not only making use of what surrounds me, but having a deep appreciation for everything.
