It’s funny how we are wired so differently. Pretty much my entire life I have encountered more people than not who are set in their ways. All kinds of ways. Of course there’s the obvious things such as religion and politics. But also the more obscure cultural monster of “standard of living”. Subtly hidden in people’s insistence of how one’s life is supposed to be lived. I am fairly open to anyone’s differences. I wouldn’t put on you anything you don’t desire yourself. Yet I had to “fight off” people’s intentions to change my ways ever since I remember. My way may not be to your liking but not only is my way just fine, it’s the only way for me to thrive. Respect the boundary of others standards of living. Don’t force your conditions on someone and expect them to bloom in an environment, be it physical, spiritual, geographical, that was not designed for how they are wired
