Oh holy. Where to start on this one. There are people and relational interchanges in your life that seem to have such a hold on you. Unable to let it go. For whatever reasons. Any time you think you progressed any kind of way, here it comes up again..yeah, you know exactly what I’m talking about. Have you let it go yet? If you can’t let it go, tried your damndest to not have any reaction to whatever or whoever it is any more, but just can’t get the hang of it, then accepting it might be another way of handling it. It is what it is. And yes, I’ve had those too. So okay, it is what it is, but it still seems to be in your way or a thorn in your side. Get it? So then just allow it…Whoa . What a concept. Something that actually works for me. I let it go. It didn’t go anywhere. I accepted it. It is what it is. But it being what it is, is still right there. So now what? I allow it to be as is. Like that damn ginormous chester drawer in the minuscule hallway placed by my co-habitants. You better suck in your breath and hold it until you make it down the hall or you are just not getting through. Since I “allowed” it to be there it doesn’t bother me any more. I open the door knowing Ginormica is meeting me right there. And I acknowledge it. Allow room for it. And keep right on going.
