I had my usual casual conversation today with one of my clients and his significant other. Just talking about this and that. Some history and such. How they used to ship immigrants over to work in the mines in Pennsylvania. And the subsequent shipment of females for betrothal. And then he mentioned a current tv show about how people get selected by “experts” to get married at first sight.

So how do you broker yourself away? What is everything that holds you together, everything that makes you rise in the morning and allows you to sleep in peace at night, what is all that worth that makes you want to package yourself off to someone else? At your own free will. It’s horrid enough that to this day your worth is measured in anything measurable that you can bring to the union as a so called contribution against your free will. Let alone make the conscious choice of searching and offering yourself like a product to a presumably as valuable of a mate. Your worth can’t be measured in education or income or looks. It can’t be measured in family background, inheritance or culture. Your worth is your inherent being created by divinity. For anyone to recognize you as the same divine being as they are. That is your worth.
