Over the course of my life I have had encounters and events that literally took me off track, causing me to come undone. Inwardly. Outwardly one of course keeps right on trucking, because falling apart is not easy to face, let alone share with anyone. Especially with other people with whom one has an established image to maintain. Regardless how much of a face one puts on, usually people can tell that there is something going on.

So who in your life has helped you get back on track? Who in their simplest of ways has supported you, waiting on the other side of hell for you? Knowing that you had to walk through the fire by yourself nevertheless unwaveringly being there. For you. Just being there.

I hope that you do have at least one person like that in your life. Or if you haven’t faced your hell yet, that you will have that person(s) there for you.

And I hope that you are soft enough to show your appreciation and love to anyone who is, has been and will be simply there for you. In the smallest of ways. I know myself that I may not express it enough. I show it in

the ways I treat them in my life. I am and would be there at a drop of a dime for them. It’s the repayment for their loyalty.
