It's not that you should own nothing but that nothing should own you

I had a conversation the other day. It was something about everything, but what stuck out to me was the person’s desire to want for what may not be necessarily within someone’s attempt for spiritual attainment.

guilt- an affective state in which one experiences conflict at having done something that one believes one should not have done

As a young child I attended Catholic church, because my father was Catholic. I never studied Catholicism. I was turned off by the enforcement of guilt and a vengeful God early on. God didn’t create any of us for punishment. I’m not sure how one can believe in such a twist of the truth of creation. We come from love and we will return to love.

We are spirit embodied and the point of that is to experience the physicality of that in itself. Physical, emotional, sensual experiences can only be encountered while we are in human form. That’s the reason for being in bodily form. God put you in a body to allow you to submerge yourself completely into it’s capabilities of perceptions.

People who attempt to instill any sense of guilt in you haven’t grasped the purpose of their human experience and want you to also forgo anything pleasurable that can only be experienced in form. Do your Creator proud and choose to live out loud instead.
