My daughter was lamenting the pitiful state of my refrigerator and cupboard the other day. My response was:” You know me, if it was just for me I’d be just fine with coffee and coconut oil in here.” She shook her head laughing at my factual statement. So off I drudged to the store to schlepp digestible necessities of life and other sustenances for the body back home. I was greeted with a smile, a helpful hand and gratitude for bringing home the little things she likes.

As everyone has their own priorities in what’s important for life, don’t ever assume that yours are “higher” or of more important value than someone else’s. In honoring that each one of us require our own way to express ourselves, we provide the support it requires for each of us to become who we were born to be. Forcing your beliefs and ideals of what should be of importance to create a life well lived, will only create resentment between you and others.
