don’t fear what’s been dead all along it’s not death that hurts it’s the dying (of it) the way living can be just the same torture funny how we turn our backs close our eyes to the obvious things that have lost its meaning to us dragging it around like a childhood memo full of (in) securities the weight of what is dead burdens us invisible to ourself recognizable by everyone we come across looking at us oddly as to why we would choose to carry necrosis like it's a trophy honorably bestowed upon us distorting the beauty of what we are allowing it to infect anything that remains healthy and vital in our life
