Judgment Day

I am still learning.

I am still learning that some people prefer prefabricated suits.

I am still learning that the faint resemblance of assurance is still much preferred over truth.

I am still learning that comfort is what we all choose every single day.

I am still learning that it is not my place to decide where anyone belongs.

I am still learning that people love fairytales and happy endings.

I am still learning that cold hard facts will alienate you from anyone shielded by illusion.

I am still learning not to take anything or anyone by face value.

I am still learning to not look away as each layer revealed only mirrors layers of my own.

I am still learning that I can only go as deep as my reflection allows me to.

I am still learning that running only takes me back to where I started.

I am still learning that every day I have to begin somewhere or I will always be nowhere.

I am still learning that everything I am being judged by only exposes the values of the judge.

I am still learning not to be the judge.

I am still learning that fear keeps me from living.

I am still learning that resistance is non-acceptance of what is.

I am still learning that love is the beginning and the end.

I am still learning to love.

I am still learning that I am love.

I am still learning.
