the tea tastes bittersweet ..like the memories of you and me the drizzle of honey seems not enough to take away the aftertaste history is such misery either way a painful reminder of how much we loved ..or suffered I'm forcing down the sips of brew that has grown cold in my weak attempt to stay present strangely enough it's the bitterness that bites just enough to extract everything that make up the good parts slowly I absorb the healing goodness while the truth sinks in that you were something ...someone I once needed to love a piece of the mosaic that is me I have digested the tea ...and you thoroughly cleansed of toxic nonsense that likes to sink its hooks in me but just like the formation of bodily waste you have become disposable a part of the stories we all need to believe until we become brave enough to love who we are ~•~ a beautiful milieu Image Eric Mencher https://www.instagram.com/emencher/
