It took me a long time to outgrow my taught co-dependency and grow into the appreciation of our innate interdependence. It took me a long time to understand the more I do for myself the more will be done for me. It took me a long time of working myself to the bone to know that abundance is not how much but how much I enjoy it. It took me a long time to feel that happiness comes over history. It took me a long time to see the game we all play all the way to the end and have blind faith that there is a beginning once it is finished. It took me a long time to let my passion for life turn into compassion for every thing. It took me a long time to grasp the void I felt can only be filled from within.
