Once I let go of all possibilities, all possibilities are open to me. We are indoctrinated that way, not wired that way. Wired would be natural and intuitive, indoctrinated is always taught and anticipated. Wired is knowing it’s coming but not knowing how it will show up. Indoctrinated is predicting when and how one wants it to be, but not allowing it to happen the way it is. So we keep that same cycle going, that we struggle to either conform to or escape, passing it from generation to generation. We are indoctrinated to look at all the possibilities, “good” or “bad”. From biggest successes to worst case scenarios. Of course, most of us are too timid or too content to reach for all the possibilities. Fear of failure and comfort of the predictable reigns us in effortlessly. We are just glad to have dodged the struggle and the pain of actually becoming what we are wired for. It’s almost funny if it weren’t for what we miss when we put ourselves on the line. We are made to believe that we put our jobs on the line, our relationships, our livelihoods, but that’s not really what’s on the line. What’s really on the line are those things we believe ourselves to be. So we have to let go of all possibilities to allow all possibilities that are open to us to show up. Taking the focus off expands our vision to our own panoramic existence. ~•~ a beautiful milieu Art Heike K
